Apple Releases OS X 10.9.1. Bug Fixes, Mail.app And Gmail Improvements
Apple has just released OS X 10.9.1 to the general public after being in beta for a little over a month. The update is focused around Mail.app, and brings a bunch of much needed and requested fixes. These include improved Gmail support, added reliability to Smart Mailboxes and search, a contact group fix, and a VoiceOver patch issue that prevented emojis from being read in Mail.Apple has also released a special version of 10.9.1 for late-2013 MacBook Pro with Retina display models.
This special update reportedly adds “system specific enhancements” that add improved stability and compatibility to the recently released professional-grade portables.To update your Mac to OS X 10.9.1, simply check for updates within the Mac App Store.
